Schieffer College is launching the Schieffer Dean’s Ambassadors, a program to enhance students’ undergraduate and graduate experiences. Ambassadors will be part of in-person and digital experiences for the college, including acting as brand influencers by giving tours, attending high-profile events and creating branded content for the college.
“Our students are the best at telling our story,” said Savannah Horton, Marketing and Communication Coordinator for the college, and the lead for the program. “As a college focused on experiential learning and creative activity, we want our students to shine and showcase what they can do, while also creating an experience that enhances learning and gives students opportunities to grow.”
As part of the inaugural team, Schieffer Dean’s Ambassadors this fall will participate in exclusive opportunities such as:
- Receiving limited edition 10th anniversary swag
- Photo opportunity with Bob Schieffer
- Media training with high-profile alumni
- Networking with the Schieffer College Board of Visitors
- And so much more!
Ambassadors will be selected based on their leadership and interpersonal skills; active participation in student organizations, campus activities or community service; a strong academic record and a genuine interest in their academic area of study, TCU and its students. Ambassadors are asked to commit to the fall 2023 semester.
