I understand that according to the current catalog, in order to carry a course load of more than 18 hours in a given semester, I should have demonstrated the ability to make at least a G.P.A. of 3.0. If I enroll for more than 18 hours without having demonstrated this ability, it is with the understanding that I am acting against the advice of the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies of the Bob Schieffer College of Communication and that I accept the full responsibility for my decision.
*Permission to enroll in more than 17 hours prior to the first day of class is primarily restricted to graduating seniors (current enrollment semester). The Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies will review academic load requests on a case-by-case basis. Please clearly explain why you must have a course load of 18 hours or more in the requested term to graduate on time.
