Meet sports broadcasting major Suzi Mellano from the class of 2015. When she’s on campus you’ll usually find her at the Charlie and Marie Lupton Baseball Stadium.
“Baseball has always been my sport. I grew up watching it, playing it and working with it. It’s also very prominent in my family. I was really proud to be part of a team as successful as these Frogs; as a reporter or just a fan. You can see some of the best college baseball right here at Lupton.
There’s something so comfortable about being at Lupton watching good baseball with some of your favorite people. Can’t beat it! One time I even played hooky from class because we had an early afternoon makeup game on a Tuesday I didn’t want to miss.”
When scrawling around in Fort Worth, her favorite place to grab a bite is Dutch’s on University Drive because she says, “Best burgers in all the land!”
