Q: How did college change you?
A: College in general helps students learn the responsibilities of taking care of yourself and not relying on your parents. College definitely made me grow up. It opened my eyes to beliefs, interests and goals. This was a result of both positive and negative experiences with my professors, friends, sorority sisters, TCU students and the school’s environment.
Q: What organizations or internships were you a part of at TCU that you feel helped you for life after college?
A: My internships are where I definitely learned the most about my field and got the best experience that I would never have learned in classes. I interned as a social media intern for Samsung Telecommunications America and PMG Advertising Agency. My internships were vital in helping me decide what I wanted to do after school and gave me enough experience to be competitive when job searching. It was honestly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
