Degree: Double major in Film, Television and Digital Media and Journalism with a minor in Communication Studies
Why I chose to attend TCU: When I came to tour TCU as a senior in high school, my dad and I loved the campus so much and I immediately felt at home here. I knew right after my tour that if I got in, this is where I wanted to be.
Involvement at TCU: During my time at TCU, I’ve spent the majority of my time with the Speech and Debate Team in the Schieffer College. Dr. Hinderaker has taught me so much and I have loved traveling with my teammates every semester to competitions around the country.
My proudest accomplishment at TCU: When I was a first-year student at TCU, the Speech and Debate traveled to Hofstra University in New York for our national competition, and I placed in the top 10 percent of all college students in every event I competed in.
What’s next after graduation: I’m going to be spending a few more years at TCU as a master’s student in the Communication Studies department! After I get my master’s degree, I’m planning on continuing on for my Ph.D.
