Why did you choose this major?
I was really interested in strategic communication because I have always enjoyed the creative side of things. I also had friends in this major who said great things about the program, so I thought it would be a good fit.  

What has been your favorite class?
Public Relations with Julie Armstrong. She was a teacher who listens to us, is caring and is very engaging. I’ve also enjoyed becoming friends with a great group of people because of her class.  

What is your dream job?
I would love to be a creative director. I enjoy collaborating with creative people and letting my ideas come to life. I believe that this would be a career that I would never get tired of, and I would be able to broaden my thoughts to a whole new level.   

What is your favorite thing to do in Fort Worth?
I always enjoy going to the Coyote Drive-In with my friends because it’s really fun to see the pretty Fort Worth skyline while watching a good movie. I would definitely recommend it.  

What advice would you give to a first-year student?
Seek out opportunities and be engaged. There are so many ways to get involved through the department that allow you to meet great friends and gain good relationships with professors who can help you in the long run too.  

Where is your favorite place to study and why?
I love studying at the TCU Bookstore because the upstairs section allows me to focus, yet it still gives me the chance to run into my friends. There’s also a Starbucks, which is my favorite.
