Determining Fit with TCU’s Master’s Program

This degree is designed for working strategic communication professionals seeking to broaden their understanding of strategic communication theories and skills in strategy, research, storytelling, new media and leadership. Students will take a blend of advertising and public relations courses that enable them to compete in today’s digital and global world.

This degree is recommended for:

  • Recent college graduates with professional internship experience and at least 15 hours (5 courses) of journalism or advertising or public relations courses
  • Communication professionals with full-time or part-time jobs who want to refine and broaden their professional skills
  • Professionals who are considering a full-time academic career that involves teaching and research advertising, public relations, and/or journalism
