The following information and deadlines pertain to comprehensive exams (Communication Studies) and projects (Strategic Communications) for the Schieffer College masters’ programs for spring 2026.
Jan. 12, 2026
File Master’s Committee form. Thesis students should file this form prior to enrollment in the thesis class.
Jan. 16, 2026
(Last day for enrollment or changing classes)
File an application to graduate. A nonrefundable fee will be charged to the student.
April 29, 2026
(Last day of class)
Projects and Comprehensive orals must be completed no later than this date. Final Defense Form (Right-click and “Save Link As…”) is completed and signed by the committee then returned to m.harrison@tcu.edu.
May 8, 2026 at 8:30 p.m.

Note: Should it be necessary to delay graduation, you must complete and submit a cancellation of intent to graduate form. Another application to graduate and associated fee will be required for your new graduation date.
