ROXO Takes Homes Two Worthy Awards

Agency Recognized for Work with Multiple Clients at 2015 Worthy Awards Held by PRSA FORT WORTH, Texas – Roxo earned awards for the third consecutive year at the fourth annual Worthy Awards, hosted by the Greater Fort Worth Chapter of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Roxo won an Award of Achievement for its social media work with Revitalize Charging Solutions, along with a Worthy Award for its social media campaign for Fort Worth Bike Sharing. The Worthy Awards are designed to honor the best strategic communications campaigns and tactics produced by professionals and students in the Fort Worth area. Michelle Clark, APR, who is president of the Greater Fort Worth Chapter of PRSA and assistant vice chancellor of communications at TCU, expressed what she enjoys most about the awards. “The Worthy Awards give our chapter a chance to highlight the important work of the communications professionals in our market – it’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and support one another,” said Clark. “In our line of work, we often shine the spotlight on others, so to have our own successes recognized is a professional boon.” Current Roxo president, Oscar Roel, attended the event on behalf of his team who worked with Revitalize Charging Solutions. “These awards brought Roxo so much credibility in the Fort Worth community. When agencies hear ‘student-led’, they assume we produce below average work,” said Roel. “Roxo winning these awards showed the Fort Worth community what Roxo has to offer and we are on track to win more awards for the years to come.” Maddy Gottlieb, who served as the account executive for Roxo’s account with Fort Worth Bike Sharing, explained what she liked most about working on this award-winning campaign. “We were able to see the direct impact and progress we made by increasing Fort Worth Bike Sharing’s presence through our graphic design, marketing and social media efforts. This partnership was extremely rewarding as we produced exceptional results,” said Gottlieb. Roxo has also won Worthy Awards for both its Valentine’s Day Campaign for the TCU Men’s Tennis Team in 2014, and its work for the Lone Star Film Festival in 2013. The Worthy Awards were held on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at the Fort Worth Club.
