Strategic Communication professor Amiso George will travel to Kyrgyzstan this month on a Fulbright Global Scholar Fellowship. She was awarded the fellowship in 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic postponed her travels. She will complete an abbreviated fellowship from May to August at the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek, where she will teach a class on storytelling for strategic communication and help develop a crisis communication course.
“Given the global perspective of my scholarly work, my upcoming Fulbright experience at the American University of Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan this summer will expand my horizon in ways that I could not have anticipated. I am not just representing myself, I am also representing TCU and proud of it,” George says.
