Jean Marie Brown, associate professor of professional practice and director of student media journalism in the Bob Schieffer College of Communication, has been named the 2026 recipient of the Wassenich Award for Mentoring in the TCU Community.
The award recognizes TCU faculty and staff who make a meaningful impact as role models, advisors and guides to students. Brown was recognized for her commitment to mentorship and the lasting relationships she has built with students and alumni throughout her career.
