On Saturday, March 26, Kris Gutierrez ’99, an Emmy award-winning journalist and member of the Schieffer College Board of Visitors, will host a resume workshop for journalism students. Gutierrez has more than 20 years experience as a news anchor and reporter at stations across the United States, including WBBM-TV in Chicago, NBC 5 in Dallas-Fort Worth and KPRC 2 in Houston. The workshop will begin at 10 a.m. in Moudy South 204. Attendees will learn how to interview, receive feedback on their resume reels and prepare to land their first job in TV news. Journalism faculty Patty Zamarripa and Melissa Harrison will be in attendance.
