The Department of Journalism and the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting are hosting an annual symposium on the topic of global food crisis and vulnerable populations at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022. The event features four panelists and will be moderated by Patty Zamarripa, assistant professor of professional practice. The panelists include: Julie Butner, CEO of Tarrant Area Food Bank; Melanie Saltzman, journalist for PBS NewsHour Weekend; Paul Skoczylas, deputy director of the Division for the UN System and Multilateral Engagement, World Food Programme, United Nations; and Megan Thompson, special correspondent for PBS NewsHour Weekend.
The event, which is open to the TCU community, will be held in the Justin Boardroom in the Dee J. Kelly Alumni & Visitors Center.
