This week Bob Schieffer is back at his alma mater. Mr. Schieffer will be speaking to a few classes and visiting college events happening this week.
Last nigh Bob Schieffer was honored by the Press Club of Dallas. The event was described as “engaging and thought-provoking evening with one of the most respected journalists and broadcasters of our time, who just happens to have been raised and educated in Fort Worth.” Bob received praise from both Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price and Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlins along with gifts of personalized cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. Kay Bailey Hutchison also spoke along with CBS 11 Doug Dunbar and Dave Johnson KRLD.
The sponsored event raised a $10,000 gift for the college.
