Lambda Pi Eta is the official honor society for Communication Studies. It is a prestigious organization which recognizes, fosters, and rewards outstanding scholastic achievement in Communication Studies. High achieving students are invited to apply for membership each semester. Qualifying students are inducted into Lambda Pi Eta in the Fall and Spring semesters in an elegant ceremony.
Requirements for membership are:
- Have completed 60 hours
- Have completed 12 hours of coursework in the Communication Studies department
- Have and maintain a 3.25 minimum GPA in COMM courses
- Have and maintain a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA
