Today we’re highlighting class of 2024 senior Rylee Sweeney.

Rylee received her B.A. as a double major in FTDM and writing. She also has a minor in women and gender studies.

Rylee was selected to represent the Bob Schieffer College of Communication as an RAB Student Scholar and got to attend the 2024 Broadcast Education Association Convention and NAB Show in Las Vegas. She said  it was one of her favorite experiences in FTDM.

“It was a wonderful, educational experience attending the panels and meeting different people, and it was really fun to be in Vegas!” she said.

After graduation, Rylee plans to work in the film industry while writing as much as she can in order to break into the industry as a screenwriter.
