On February 10, 2015, casting director Beth Sepko met with FTDM students to discuss the craft of casting and her work on the television series Friday Night Lights and the Academy Award-nominated film Boyhood. In addition to speaking in classes, she visited with students informally to share with them the intricacies of the industry. While doing so, Sepko spoke about her involvement with Richard Linklater’s and Robert Rodriguez’s careers as well as her experiences casting the upcoming ABC series American Crime and the HBO series The Leftovers.
