The classes I enrolled in I felt limited my ability to be creative. I applied to switch my major to Strategic Communication and was accepted fall semester of sophomore year. I made the switch because I wanted to explore my creative side and expand my career opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How did TCU help you decide this was the right area of study for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My professors guided me and gave me advice on different paths I could take. The Strategic Communication department specifically took my questions into great consideration and reassured me this was the right decision and right fit for what I was looking for.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What have you discovered about yourself through your academics at TCU? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Throughout my academics at TCU thus far, I have discovered that writing is important and continue to learn how to be an effective writer.
