I spoke with her about being scared to apply to the\u00a0program and finishing school on time. She assured me that I would graduate on time and encouraged\u00a0me to give it a shot. I got in to the program, I\u2019m\u00a0graduating on time, and I finally found something that I\u2019m happy doing!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are your plans after graduation?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After graduation, I\u2019m planning to go to law school and hopefully getting involved in media law. If I choose not to practice, the advertising agency life is a lot of fun and I\u2019d be happy to stay in that as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What has been your favorite class so far, and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Design with Broc Sears. I discovered fun programs, and his class was an environment that I felt comfortable to fail in. I would keep trying and working with the different programs. Now, I have fun with the programs and make things for a few companies for their social media.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Which professor has had the greatest impact on you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Broc Sears and Dr. Jacque Lambiase<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Sears has been amazing. He is friendly, and he cares about what happens to you. He won\u2019t let you fail.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Lambiase is one of the strongest women I know. She\u00a0encouraged me to be part of this major, and she really is just such an incredible person to speak to and learn from.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s your most memorable learning experience?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I took Diversity my first year with Sears and Lambiase. Before that class, I had never really paid attention to the issues that surround diversity and how they affect me as a woman. These two helped bring me to that realization, and that class encouraged me to shoot higher than the glass ceiling. It also showed me that humanity is\u00a0humanity regardless of fault or fissure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Any advice for first year students?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t think that you have to pick a major immediately. Find out what you are good at first. If you rush it, you wind up scrambling later to get it all done.
