Why did you pick T<\/span><\/b>exas\u00a0<\/span><\/b>C<\/span><\/b>hristian\u00a0<\/span><\/b>U<\/span><\/b>niversity<\/span><\/b>?<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>It<\/span>\u00a0wa<\/span>s one of the better schools in the area<\/span>. <\/span>I went to T<\/span>arrant\u00a0<\/span>C<\/span>ounty\u00a0<\/span>C<\/span>ollege<\/span>\u00a0first<\/span>\u00a0and then<\/span> transferred to TCU in the spring of 2018. I<\/span> wanted to challenge myself. I ended up getting a partial scholarship to TCU<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0I always wanted to come here.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you have p<\/span><\/b>ets?<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>My household has four dogs, but only one of them is mine. Her name is Jazz<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>S<\/span>he\u2019s a\u00a0<\/span>S<\/span>hi<\/span>h\u00a0<\/span>T<\/span>zu,\u00a0<\/span>3<\/span>\u00a0years old<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0and she<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s the love of my life.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you think you<\/span><\/b>\u00a0hav<\/span><\/b>e done in college that<\/span><\/b>\u00a0ha<\/span><\/b>s most surprised your friends and family?<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>Just going to college. I took a break after I graduated<\/span>.<\/span> I didn\u2019t actually start pursuing college until I was 25. I was going through some self-discovery phases and I just didn\u2019t know what I wanted to do<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0I didn\u2019t want to waste a bunch of time and money trying to figure it out\u00a0<\/span>un<\/span>til I wanted to commit to something. I was just trying to figure out who I was and what <\/span>I<\/span>\u00a0wanted to do with my life and I kind of needed to find that niche before I went on that journey.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your favorite<\/span><\/b>\u00a0thing about<\/span><\/b>\u00a0the<\/span><\/b>\u00a0TCU student body?<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>The passion of certain students. Some people are so passionate about things that really matter and it makes other people feel that same passion. Especially when something goes wrong. I remember when Atatiana Jefferson was shot, a lot of people did that march. People care, to some degree<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0at least.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the mo<\/span><\/b>st impactful habit you<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>picked up in colleg<\/span><\/b>e<\/span><\/b>?<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>Organi<\/span>zing my time. <\/span>I\u2019m still not awesome at it, but it has really helped me. <\/span>J<\/span>ust the benefits of something as simple as a daily planner<\/span>\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0calendar<\/span>;<\/span>\u00a0those are things I never used before TCU.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What m<\/span><\/b>usical artist has gotten you through<\/span><\/b>\u00a0college<\/span><\/b>?<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>Claude Debussy.<\/span> I\u2019<\/span>ve listened to so much classical music<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0but especially Debussy<\/span>,<\/span> when it comes to studying and just trying to get my head on straight. Probably\u00a0<\/span>I\u2019ve\u00a0<\/span>listened to\u00a0<\/span>\u201c<\/span>Clair de\u00a0<\/span>L<\/span>une<\/span>\u201d<\/span> more times than any other song in the last two and a half years. It helps keep me sane sometimes;\u00a0<\/span>it helps\u00a0<\/span>with the stres<\/span>s.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Is there a class you would retake?<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>Honestly, I really loved Writing and Editing and Strategic Writing. I got a lot out of those classes and I feel like<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0taking them over<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0I could get even more out of those classes<\/span>\u2014<\/span>I could just keep refining my writing with those types of assignments. I fe<\/span>el<\/span>\u00a0like\u00a0<\/span>I\u2019<\/span>ve gotten something out of almost everything that\u00a0<\/span>I\u2019v<\/span>e taken. I could benefit from retaking any of my Spanish classes<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>be<\/span>cause the more you deal with it the better you get.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
