Shannon Murphy<\/strong>

Why journalism?
\n<\/strong>When I was in high school I participated in an after-school journalism class. We filmed\u00a0a\u00a0newscast that aired every Monday and I was one of the sports anchors. I fell in love with broadcast journalism and I knew that was going to be my major.<\/p>\n

Do you have a minor?
\n<\/strong>I am currently a political science minor, but I am changing it to a major. I will be double majoring in journalism and political science.<\/p>\n

What are you most proud of in the last year?
\n<\/strong>I am proud of making the Dean’s List last year and every semester at Texas Christian University while taking 18 hours of course credit.<\/p>\n

What do you plan to do with your degree?
\n<\/strong>Since I will be a political science and journalism double major, I am thinking about going into law or I would love to work for CNN.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favorite word?
\n<\/strong>My favorite words are preposterous, discombobulated and ebullient.
