\u201cIt\u2019s as fun as you let it be. Working as a reporter can be insanely stressful on the bad days, but the professors and the other students always have your back and make you proud to be a student journalist. To me, it\u2019s the most fun I\u2019ve ever had in an academic setting.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t overemphasize how important it is to physically talk to your professors, not email, but talk. When I was a sophomore, I was scared to death of whether I was competent enough to even do the job and considered switching majors more than once. What got me through that phase was just having a heart-to-heart with my professors and working together on how to go from zero to hero. Right now I\u2019m somewhere in between, but I\u2019ll keep bugging Jean and Professor Parisot until I get there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRead the news! You can\u2019t be a journalism major if you don\u2019t try to learn from the pros and try to be aware of the world outside the TCU bubble. It changes how you think walking into the newsroom. Besides, a good newspaper pairs well with a cup of Joe.<\/p>\n
