I originally planned to only minor in film, television and digital media since my other major was strategic communication. I didn\u2019t want to offset my graduation date by becoming a double-major. However, after I took my first film class, I knew I had to declare it as my major because I liked it too much. Additionally, the minor is very different because you\u2019re limited to what classes you\u2019re allowed to take.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is a common misconception about the major?<br \/>\n<\/strong>A lot of people think all you do is watch movies, which isn\u2019t the case at all. The major is structured into three sections: industry, critical analysis and production. After you\u2019ve taken the required courses for each section, you\u2019re free to take the courses you prefer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What makes TCU stand out from every other university?<br \/>\n<\/strong>I think what everyone loves about TCU is the fact that it is a small school with a big-school feel. We excel in everything we do: academics, sports, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your favorite thing to do in Fort Worth?<br \/>\n<\/strong>EAT!!!! Mexican food is my favorite.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you like to do in your spare time?<br \/>\n<\/strong>I like going to the movies, reading, watching television and traveling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is one fact people don\u2019t know about you?<br \/>\n<\/strong>My lucky number is 7. I have 7 letters in my first, middle and last names. (7-7-7)<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you plan to do with your degree?<br \/>\n<\/strong>I want to do something that combines my two degrees.
