“I would say really pay attention to the time you meet with your advisor; they know so much about the major and how to shape it towards your interests.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Be open to trying new things. I thought I wasn’t interested in sports until I pursued an opportunity a professor presented to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Make friends within the major. It’s a smaller major so this will probably happen anyways, but having a group to study with is extremely beneficial, and then you’ll have instant and vital industry connections after you graduate.\u201d<\/p>\n
