Students Edgar Saenz and Madyson Buchanan report for a special edition of News Now on Nov. 3, 2022, as the Horned Frogs climb the ranks in college football.<\/p><\/div>\n

Edgar Saenz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree as a double major in Sports Broadcasting and Journalism in December. Edgar is from Nicaragua, and he served as the president of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists at TCU during his time here.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been a blessing to be here the past 4 years. I have learned a lot from the industry and loved the relationship between student and staff, always encouraging us to practice every day to learn from our mistakes and become the best,” he said. “As an international student I had a great experience being part of student media, participating in various platforms to learn from different areas across the industry. I am grateful for every single professor that has marked my journey and I hope to make them proud wherever I go.\u201d<\/p>\n

Edgar is pursuing a career in sports journalism, where he hopes he can serve as a reference for soccer news in particular.<\/p>\n
