Why Texas Christian University?\u00a0<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>I was looking for a school in the <\/span>s<\/span>outhern United States because I<\/span> enjoy the warm weather during most of the year<\/span>.\u00a0 TCU participated <\/span>in <\/span>one of the college fairs at my high school back in my hometown<\/span> in South America<\/span> and I immediately fell in love with it.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Why did you choose <\/span><\/b>c<\/span><\/b>ommunication <\/span><\/b>s<\/span><\/b>tudies as a major?\u00a0<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>I wanted to learn how to communicate effectively in various fiel<\/span>ds<\/span> and I like to express my opinion to other people<\/span>. I wanted to<\/span> connect on a personal leve<\/span>l while speaking my mind clearly<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What has been your best<\/span><\/b> experience in the Bob Schieffer College of Communication?\u00a0<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>Every class I have taken in my major has helped me improve either my communication or speaking skills. I like how every class has its own specific focus on how to build relationships within your personal and professional li<\/span>fe<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What incredibly common thing<\/span><\/b> have you<\/span><\/b> never done<\/span><\/b>?\u00a0<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>I\u2019m learning to communicate better<\/span> and express myself<\/span>, but I have never talked out my personal problems<\/span>. I think communication studies is helping me create relationships with others and be more open about my opinions and thoughts.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What food do you love that people might find a little odd?<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>I like to experiment with different food flavors and I really enjoy eating rice with eggs and ketchup. Many people might think that these three foods don\u2019t go together, but they taste really good combined.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Who is the most interesting person you\u2019ve met and talked with?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>My <\/span>g<\/span>randfather. He always<\/span> has <\/span>unique anecdotes <\/span>from his<\/span> childhood and teenage years<\/span> to share with me. I use the lessons he learned from these experiences to apply in my own life.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you could do <\/span><\/b>your first year at TCU <\/span><\/b>over ag<\/span><\/b>ain<\/span><\/b>, what would you do differently?\u00a0<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span>Learn and practice more speaking <\/span>and writing Italian by taking a beginning course in Italian. <\/span>I visited<\/span> Rome and <\/span>I <\/span>wish I had<\/span> master<\/span>ed<\/span> the languag<\/span>e <\/span>better in order to communicate and comprehend the culture more effectively.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
