Board of Visitors

As a Communications graduate from the class of 1979, I am incredibly honored to serve as the current Chair of the Bob Schieffer College of Communication Board of Visitors. My TCU degree helped open the doors to a long career in media, focusing on radio at both the market and corporate levels. I’ve always believed it is incumbent on all of us to give back in any way possible, whether it be with time, talent or service. What a privilege it is to be able to work side-by-side with Dean Bunton, as well as others on the Board, professors and students.

My connection to TCU has entered a new generation: my nephew, Will, is a sophomore working on a business degree and my niece, Caroline, is a junior Strategic Communication major within the Schieffer College. I couldn’t be prouder of their choice – and knowing the high caliber of education that awaits them has only deepened my love of all things purple.

Add to all of this I worked for CBS for over a decade! I’ve always been a huge fan of Bob Schieffer and was thrilled when his name was added to the College of Communication, taking our well-respected program and catapulting it into national acclaim. The possibilities for our students are unlimited; I’m excited to see where we go from here!
