I met Hayley Zablotsky during my first year in an English Honors class. We were put into the same group for a project where we found out we were both Strategic Communication majors. It’s really hard to find someone that has the same mentality and mindset when it comes to working, so I’m glad we got paired up!

We have an end-of-the-week tradition where we catch up on what happened during the week over boba tea. We have typical girl talk where we gossip and complain about deadlines. If we can’t make a date, we schedule time for each other over the weekend.

I had a lot of doubts about coming to TCU because I was transitioning from a Vietnamese high school to an American college. I once though that I couldn’t make it here, but everyone is so great and reassured me that I can achieve great things. I have met a lot of people that inspire me here, Hayley being one of them.
